Kahala / Diamond Head

Welcome to Waialae-Kahala

Diamond Head State Monument, parks, and executive homes
Waialae-Kahala is a serene, coastal town exhibiting expansive executive homes. Award-winning architectural firm WhiteSpace Architects have designed and renovated single-family homes in this neighborhood. Take a look at their residential gallery to get a sense of the local real estate market. Waialae-Kahala is removed from the hustle and bustle of downtown Honolulu but only a 15-minute drive away. It contains the Wiliwilinui Ridge, Wiliwilinui Trailhead, and Mau’uame Trailhead and connects to Diamond Head State Monument, making it great for hiking. Diamond Head Beach Park, a quaint beach along the cliffs of Diamond Head State Monument, is great for walks along with the shore and surf breaks.
Waialae-Kahala residents love the peaceful vibe of their town. They can be found enjoying the simpler pleasure of life, like luxuriating in the lavish privacy of their homes after a day of hiking or playing golf at Waialae Country Club. Keeping an atmosphere of serenity, Waialae-Kahala is not overly developed with commercial real estate. However, a handful of fine restaurants and a shopping center are centrally located near Hunakai Street and Lunalilo Highway.
